Frequently Asked Septic System Questions
We get asked a variety of questions regarding our portable restrooms, restroom trailers, and sanitation equipment. Here you'll find answers to the most common questions. If you don't see your question answered don't hesitate to give us a call (866) 646-5646.
That depends on what type of units are being used. For our restroom trailers we do recommend setting the unit within 100 feet of an electrical outlet and water spigot. If that is not possible we can arrange to provide a generator and/or fill the onboard water tank or provide water holding tanks for an additional fee.
Yes, our restroom trailers need to be placed on a mostly flat surface. The trailers are self leveling, so we have a small amount of flexibility on uneven ground. If you have any concerns about the areas you plan to put the trailer(s) you can send us a photo or video of your area and we will let you know if there are any concerns.
We will deliver the restrooms or restroom trailers to your location prior to the start of your event. It can be hectic when setting up a large event so we always try and have the toilets or trailers in place at least 24-48 hours prior to the start of your event. We can arrange to have the equipment delivered when you need it. We also handle the pickup of the restrooms after the event or project is over. Our service is completely turn-key. You don't need to do anything.
We do require someone to be on-site when we deliver the trailers or restrooms. We want to make sure they are placed correctly, we have water/electrical available (if required) and to provide basic operational instructions too. We do not require anyone to be present when we pick the equipment up after the event.
We typically recommend at least one stall per 100 people for every 6 hours of your event. For example, if you have an event with 300 people that lasts for 6 hours you're going to want at least a 3 stall unit. We always recommend having slightly more stalls then you need.
For portable toilets you can use our handy unit calculator to figure out how many restrooms you'll need.
Your restroom trailer or port-a-potty rentals will arrive to you fully stocked with toiletries including soaps, hand towels, toilet paper, and any other amenities that have been arranged. The units are thoroughly cleaned, and disinfected as well.
During your event you are responsible for keeping the unit clean unless you arrange to have an attendant on site (which we can provide for an additional fee) but you must let us know in advance.
If you are renting for more than 24 hours we will have someone to clean, restock, and pump out the holding tanks on your unit if required.
Yes, our restroom trailers have real flushing toilets! The waste will be flushed into a large holding tank in a separate compartment of the trailer. For single day rentals the tank won't require pumping. For rentals 24 hours or longer we will provide a pump-out service to ensure the holding tank always has room.
Yes, our portable restroom trailers or VIP portable toilets can be arranged with heat and/or air conditioning for seasonal events as required. Our standard port-a-potties do not have this luxury.
Yes we do! We have restroom trailers with wheelchair ramps and wider doors and stalls to accommodate those with mobility issues or who are confined to a wheelchair. We also offer ADA compliant and wheelchair friendly port-a-potties as well.
